English level A2 with Christina Ansari
You already have some basic knowledge and are able to make yourself understood and talk about everyday, specific situations that are familiar to you; this course will help you gain confidence and expand your vocabulary.
Building on the basics, this class dives into real-world English through listening practice, from feel-good news articles to classic songs by artists like Leonard Cohen and The Beatles. Students explore the differences between British and American English, take part in lively role-plays such as booking a hotel room or renting a car, and even enjoy the occasional cookie-making chat before the holidays. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, with plenty of shared laughter along the way.
Christina has been teaching at VEEM since 2019.
