French Conversation Advanced with Yves Dubois
This is a conversation class for those who already have a good intermediate or an advanced knowledge of French, aimed at increasing your competence and fluency and your ability to discuss topics and express more complex points of view.
The content of Yves' class is based on readings of texts and listening to French recordings (songs, comedy sketches, etc.), with explanation of context and language difficulties. The topics are mainly cultural, influenced by his background as an art historian. Participants are also invited to suggest themes they can develop themselves.
Yves has been teaching at VEEM since 2019.
