Short Randonnée 4.2km

A relaxed walk from the Chapelle Notre-Dame du Cros up to the Carrière du Roy — the ancient red marble quarry that once supplied stone for the Palace of Versailles — and back. About 4.2 km in total, with lovely views along the way.

Note that this hike takes place on a Sunday rather than our usual Saturday, as we're combining it with a picnic afterwards!

Afterwards, we stay on for a picnic at Notre-Dame du Cros. Bring your own food to share, drinks are on VEEM. Friends and family are welcome!

If you're staying for the picnic, you're welcome to store your food in the fridge on site.
